image vector - PDF project takeoff

We are looking to build a web based PDF "vector" reading application. It will function like the exe application that can be found at [login to view URL] Recommend viewing both training videos to help you learn what a takeoff is. This project will be integrated into our online estimating application. 1. The application will store the Takeoff data, perhaps even images it saves to an MS SQL database. 2. The project will need to be built in Visual Studio. 3. Need it to import PDF, perhaps other vector documents as well from CAD. 4. I need to have the uncompiled source, remote access to server will be provided to developer. 5. Ideas welcome. I found this open source that might be useful: [login to view URL] I believe its open source web based vector tool used in mapping, perhaps import PDF - calibrate to PDF then use tools. PDF to vector conversion software, never used it, might need to integrate. [login to view URL] - this may not even be needed - only found it regarding non vector PDFs.
