simple Function Progress Form in C#

Progress Dialog Box I have a function call that takes roughly 5 minutes to complete. While this function is being completed I would like a dialog box that updates and displays the status of the function. What I am currently doing is not working. See attached word document for more info. There are two problems with this process. a) I receive a contextSwitchDeadlock when running in VS 2005. b) The status bar does not update in the form and end up being non-responsive. What I need are: 1. ProgressBar to properly update as the loop progresses. 2. Cancel button to exit from the for loop so that I can clean up some things. 3. Image in the form to update when changed (not in current control). 4. Written in C# in Visual studio 2005. 5. Clear example on calling form from function in main program form. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
