Hello, I need a software programmer with good math knowledge/skills who has worked on either computer graphics applications or game development and has experience with bezier curves, b-splines curves, spline curves etc. We're developing a 3d software to draw objects like roads, lines etc using control points, we need help of a programmer to convert the splines into internal data structure and some other formats. See the attached GIF. Google Doc with more info [login to view URL] We want to draw roads using control points forming a b-spline curve and then convert the curve into other formats like into - Lines - Arcs - Spirals - Parametric Cubic Curve If you have worked with or implemented different kind of splines in computer graphics or game development then you should be right for the job. Hi there, I'm Matt Sergei (do call me Matt, please) and am placing a bid if you don't choose a freelancer before Monday (Aug, 17th) next week. I have knowledge about 2D (and 3D) graphics and have checked your requirements in the Google document yet currently am working on two other projects. And need to read your document thoroughly over the weekend (when I plan to complete mentioned projects). Otherwise I'm a webmaster and IT developer for 26 years, and last 7+ years implementing mainly SVG based animations/charts/visualizations where I have to script sometime quadratic and cubic Bezier curves while lines and arcs are (much) easier. Since I have graduated in digital image processing and thus am versed in multimedia mathematics I believe using it will be easier than for the average engineer. Regarding programming languages I'm most in javascript (and node.js) now, with less PHP as before. Understand Python and C though don't have to use them regularly (yet they would not cause me problems). Best Regards and hope you're safe, Matt
