I require someone to provide me with a couple of solid ideas for two mystery short stories. You do not need to write the entire stories as I will be adapting your ideas. I am looking for ideas related to the genres of mystery, whodunnit and the supernatural. The aim of the stories is for readers to solve the mystery/crime that has occurred. I need from you for each of the two stories: - The premise of the story, ie what has happened, what is the mystery to be solved. Is there a twist. - Possible characters with short descriptions. - Possible location/s (haunted house/woods/hotel/school etc) in what country (England, America etc). - The time period that best reflects your story, for instance, would it be best set in the 19th century or in a modern-day setting etc. - Basically, who, why, what, where, when... Please note that if your idea is a supernatural one, it needs to be related to a human mystery that needs solving, ie no creatures or monsters please! As stated, you do not need to write complete stories, I am only after your ideas for a couple of gripping mysteries that readers would want to read and enjoy solving. So I only need a few paragraphs from you. You must be a native English speaker. Ideally I would like someone based in the UK, but this is not mandatory. There is the potential for this to be an on-going project. If I like your ideas, there may be an opportunity for more work providing me with more ideas, or even to get involved in the writing or proofreading of the stories. You must be happy for me to use your ideas in any way I want and for the copyright to be mine. Please state that you are happy with this at the top of your proposal.
