IMPORTANT! This is only a test drive for a much bigger project with around 500 to 1,500 working hours a year. With this project we only evaluate who of the freelancers here is the best choice for us! So read the project description carefully, maybe this is your chance for a really big job!

We will give this test project to more than one to see which ones will suits us best. We are only looking for a longer-term cooperation. It needs some time to get a feeling how to handle this project.

So take your time to read the project description, download the attached example file and the photos for the test project..

Please consider also that the price you offer now is only for stocktaking of the 50 items in the file you will find under the link.

So only offer a price in a range which you are willing to offer also for continuous project. It does not make sense for you and us if you offer a very low price, we book a test drive and afterward you raise the price per item / hour. Waste of time and money for both of us.

Do not stress yourself! We are looking for serious partners for a long term business relationship, not for the fastest poster of an offer here!

1. What we need

stock check / stocktaking based on photos

Our business is selling assets from big companies. For this we have to produce commercial catalogs with photos, price and description.

A Year we are selling around 3,000 to 10,000 items, that means a lot of work for us. Now we are planning to outsource some of these work. So we are looking for a company who will make the catalog description and the research of technical details and price for us, as a starting point for our team.

In the attached file you will find some example photos and descriptions so that you can get an idea what we want. We are selling all kind of goods – from computer, furnishings, machinery, tools, clothing and so on.

2. What we assume

Time is important for these work, so if we have a job it has do be done within a couple of days. But it is also very important for us that information are well researched. Not for all article, it depends on the sale price we can expect. That means – if it looks cheap make it short, if it looks expensive – work carefully and detailed.

3. What you have to do

Consider the photos, look for relevant information for our buyers and compose a title, subtitle and description for every item in English. Then use Google Translate to translate it to German and put these results also in the list. If it is an article where it is possible to check out a manufacture and model research on Google for additional information for the item descriptions. Copy these from the Internet to an HTML – Editor and check the formatting. Then copy the Html source code to the Excel table. It is important to do it this way, because our software needs and understand only html-tags like br, p, strong, li and ul. And do not forget to enter this link in the list.

Its also very important if you use manufacturer's details from the net that you remove all html tags regarding links, font size, typ or color and so on. Only table tags, line brakes, enumeration and strong is allowed.

For article where you can find out exactly what it is (manufacturer, type and model) use this information to research a price. If you find the new price for the same time enter this in the list. If not try to find a price on [login to view URL] and enter the price range.

Thats all. At the moment it may sounds complicate, but it is not if you have a little bit experience. Normally (it depends on the item mix) we do around 180 – 250 items per worker a day.

You will find a lot of additional information in the attached zip – file. That should help you to get a feeling how what is important for us.

At last here the link to all 50 items for the test project:
