Hi. My name is Andrea Orta Mashburn, and today I'm going to discuss interactive games to do when babysitting. Interactive games can be both inside and outside. Inside interactive games can be board games. Make sure that if you're doing a board game that it's age-appropriate and that the child understands the concept of the game. Additional interactive games in the house may include arts and crafts, things that have the two of you interact with one another. If there is a grouping of children (more than one) you may have a couple of different activities going on at the same time. If you're working with board games, some of the children may want to play one board game while the little ones may want to play one that's more age-appropriate. Allow them all to play and give them ownership of the game. While different groups may be playing, make sure that you interact with them as well. Outside interactive games may include playing tag or even red light and green light. Make sure that before you play outside interactive games that the location is safe and that you have permission to go outside. So remember, be dependable, be safe, and always be on time.
