create a patch to crack trial based software

Hello, i have been trying to crack the software easyC v4 by Intelitek. A link- [login to view URL] It is trial based and seems to have HWID protection, really not sure though. I did download a debugger and try to do this myself. I was able to locate the text reference strings and then the if statements dealing with the license and evaluation state. However i wasn't able to get anything to work with them. So, out of curiosity, if you are able to get a working patch i would like to know maybe a quick summary of how you went about it. That would definitely not be required though, just appreciated.
