Address Standardization

I'm a GIS expert with 10s of successfully completed projects on and outside freelanser.com. I have already developed a semiautomatic utility for formatting and cleaning up addresses. The utility integrates Google Maps, GeoCoding, GeoNames, String Matching, and Spelling Correction.

Hi, I have a lot of experience with geocoding and reverse geocoding, including in foreign countries with specific address formats (Thailand, Japan for instance). I have developed scripts to send requests to Google API and get the results compiled back in a file. I have completed some geocoding projects here on freelancer.com I suggest you check my reviews. I have a question though regarding the addresses, what is the source of these addresses? I tried the ones you attached in your file and in order to get results from Google I need to remove part of the information. This will mean somehow a cleanup of the source file before running it by Google and potentially iterations to send additional requests with more or less information for some records until Google recognizes it. Do you have additional info about what you want to display on the map? If it's a type of business (restaurant for instance) it could help narrow down the results returned by Google. In any case a sample file with more addresses would be helpful. As far as the time to get the results goes, it's mostly driven by Google limitations for geocoding requests based on IP. There is a cap to the number of daily requests for the free API and unless you are willing to pay for additional requests this drives the delivery time. Do not hesitate if you have any questions. Hi as per your request post on here do u want the final output in the form of kml / kmz ? and one more thing is the raw data contains the zipcode?
