Django Web Application Development for B2B SAAS Product
$25-50 USD / hora
We are looking for a full-stack, sole developer to take over work for an established, enterprise B2B Django-based SaaS.
Please only apply if you have at least three years of full-time or nearly full-time development experience with Django.
You should be comfortable writing both concise backend code, as well as detail-oriented template work.
The project has stable production and staging servers set up and a comprehensive set of unit tests.
Required Technical Experience
Django
Strong experience working with Django Rest Framework
Strong experience managing asynchronous functions using Celery and RabbitMQ
Proven experience performing Stripe integration into Django (Adding and changing products with testing on Stripe prior to deploy)
Experience with Twilio and Mailgun integrations (or equivalent)
Experience writing and running and maintaining unit tests
Front-end
Strong familiarity with jQuery and Javascript
Ability to not change existing frontend to React or Vue because jQuery sucks
Devops
Proven experience performing deployments to staging prior to production
Strong familiarity with Ubuntu 16.04 / uWSGI / Nginx
Administrative responsibilities include:
Must be a self-starter
Must be able to manage your own tickets and actively perform and update time estimates using Github Issues working toward specific Milestones.
Excellent code management skills, (use of git flow, concise commit messages)
Team communication using Slack, video meetings and email
Additional desired capabilities include:
Understand business objectives enough to influence development priorities
Initial work will be updating copy and proving ability to efficiently run and deploy the product to the staging server.
You will work with one non-technical product manager. You will need to be able to discuss the goals with them and help craft tickets to describe the work.
Initial work is Less than 30 hrs/week and will last 1 to 3 months. Depending on fit it will become a long-term relationship.
