Custom Reports and Discounting for CRE Loaded store

Customized programming required for a CRE Loaded 6.2 Pro e-commerce site. There are two separate parts: #[login to view URL] site owner wants to offer a price break discount using the existing Price Break Discount module in the Order Total section. However due to restrictions from some suppliers not all products can be offered with a discount. What is required is a place where the owner of the site can select specific manufacturers that will be excluded from the calculations. Products assigned to those manufacturers will not be discounted and their cost will not be included in the amount used to determine whether a price break discount should be provided. Example: Customer buys 3 x $100 items. One item is not eligible for a discount. Site normally offers a 10% discount for buying $300. Because one item is not eligible the site should calculate the final price based on the 8% discount offered from $100-$199. The total would thus be- $300 sub-total -$16 discount ($200 @ 8%) ===== $284 Order total This function may be included in the Price Break Discount module or can have its own menu option provided. Given the number of manufacturers the site currently supports a separate listing seems more feasible. A solution that adds a new module to solve the problem is also acceptable. In order words stop using the included Price Break Discount module and create a new module to do the job. Please specify if you intend to create a new module and offer some idea of how you would implement the selection process for the excluded manufacturers. #2. Create a new report that will generate a list of items sold in a particular category or sub-category in a given time period. The category and time period should be selectable by the user. Report should show the items and the price of each item with a total dollar amount at the end of the report. The web site is not currently live but the goal is to have it ready in approximately 7-10 days. Bids that can fit into that time frame will be more likely to be accepted.
