I need to develop 2 pcbs as described in the photos (roughly). The first board must be able to read sensors that communicate through i2c (either through qwiic or an i2c extender). This board must have a multiplexer to be able to accept at least 3 PCB sensors. PCB Sensora: It must allow to communicate either through qwiic or through i2c extend (rj45) with pcb number 1. In addition to the above, I need the programming of some features. Perform the sensing of each of the plates every 15 min. Store the sensing results on the SD card Send the sensed data via post (json) using the gprs A6 connection from Ai-Thinker. Turn on and / or turn off each of the relay ssr depending on the response to the post sent to the server. ----------------------- Necesito desarrollar 2 pcbs como las descritas en las fotos (a groso modo). La primera placa debe ser capaz de leer sensores que se comunicaran mediante i2c (ya sea a traves de qwiic o de un extendedor i2c). Esta placa debe poseer un multiplexor para poder aceptar al menos 3 pcb sensoras. PCB Sensora: Debe permitir comunicarse ya sea mediante qwiic o a traves del i2c extender (rj45) con la pcb numero 1. Ademas de lo anterior, necesito la programación de algunas funcionalidades. Realizar el sensado de cada una de las placas cada 15 min. Almacenar los resultados del sensado en la tarjeta SD Enviar los datos sensados mediante post (json) utilizando la conexion del gprs A6 de Ai-Thinker. Encender y/o Apagar cada uno de los relay ssr dependiendo de la respuesta al post enviado al servidor.

Hi I'm Matt from Warton Circuits Ltd located in the UK. I've have lots of industry experience in PCB design as well as microcontroller development, I have on site rapid prototyping facilities for PCB prototypes and also a small SMT production line (Juki pick and place) so can produce prototypes during the development stage if that would be of interest. I've worked with I2C extensively in the past so have good knowledge of this, along with various different microcontroller families (10F222 for a design that was produced in about 50k a year quantities, up to larger LPC1768 ARMs in smaller quantities). From looking at your requirements, I would suggest a small micro on PCB1 that is an I2C slave, this would perform the interfacing between any of the three sensors and then report back the result over the I2C bus - this micro doesn't have a great deal going on, so would likely be in the sub $1 range - probably something like a 16F PIC/ATtiny? The second PCB i would suggest a larger micro as this has to deal with the file system on the SD card as well as the GPRS modem. I have done a project in the past with a Telit GPRS modem and wrote a bootloader for a 18F PIC, the user would send a SMS message to the device, this would then trigger the PIC to restart, enter the bootloader, and then download the latest firmware via GPRS to external flash, before this was authenticated and the PIC would reflash itself from the external memory.
