My research is based on Real Time Hardware Implementation of Video Tracking. My objectives is Efficient video tracking using online learning which adapts to scale ,appearance ,deformation, partial and full occlusion. Improving overall percentage overlap and decreasing mean distance error in tracking is the goal. My problem relates to, how background noise affects learning algorithm. Why drifting takes place in long term videos. Will generative and discriminative model solve this problem?

Hi , My Background: Manager, Designs. Signal Processing Expert. I've implemented similar tracking algorithms for real time implementation of Advance Driver Assistance systems (esp. Lane Departure and Forward Collision Warning systems). Since it was to be implemented in a customized hardware, there was a trade-off between accuracy and execution speed. I am a professional matlab developer in image processing. I have also implemented SURF algorithm based object tracking in Beaglebone black hardware using opencv.
