A leading organization is seeking an Order Entry and Purchasing professional with heavy SAP backgroundto perform a wide range of administrative tasks, while supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable juggling multiple tasks in an extremely fast-paced exciting environment. Purchasing Responsibilities Purchase order entry administrative support, emailing and/or scanning purchase orders and documents Receive and review purchase order acknowledgements for accuracy of model numbers, pricing, delivery dates, identify discrepancies Update purchase orders in SAP with order acknowledgement number and changes Update Info records in SAP Save order acknowledgements and attach to purchase orders in SAP Expedite purchase orders with factories and 3rd party suppliers Maintain Excel expedite files on Share point Logistics Manage pre-alerts from Factories Trace shipments with carriers Validate that receiving has been completed. Customer Service Sales order entry administrative support, emailing, scanning order acknowledgements/documents Review open backlog & proactively expedite backlog Run backlog reports weekly for Channels with updated delivery information Liaise with Customer Service of delayed deliveries for open sales order Qualifications Customer focused, internal & external Require strong written and verbal communication Strong Computer skills, Excel & SAP Self Motivated, take initiative Sense of Urgency Highly organized Strong problem-solving ability Fast pace environment Demonstrate teamwork skills, leadership and priority management Overall understanding of business from order entry to shipping, inventory knowledge an asset
