I will still need the writing and parts that affect seo to be unchanged or implimented ont he new site. The aim is to have a new look. With my experience of 5years+ in website designing and development I have understood that my business is not just to bring website live but also generate business for my client through site that actually leaves a WOW effect on client's audience! In the reference site you shared they're using a Slider that's wordpress based too (as your site is also wordpress). It's speed is slow but with our new site we can make the same thing work even faster. Rather than customising the current theme we would recommend to write a new, taking care about the site's current SEO actions.
