Online based tool for gathering vehicle (cars and trucks) information

Project details: I need an online based application to provide users with information related to available list of inventory (cars) in an online auto auctions. The application should do two main functions. Function #1: Have you interacted with [login to view URL] or any other online flight booking website? On [login to view URL] for example, user creates a search criteria, hit search then kayak reaches to the airlines websites to collect information (flights) and return results to the user. The concept here is the same. User of the application choose make, model and year and click search button. The application then takes user search criteria and search auto auctions and return the results to the user in a format shown on the UI mock-up I will provid. So there is no API involved here, the application is web scraping information (web data extraction) from auto auctions websites. These auto auction websites are [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] Function #2: Among the information returned in function #1 is the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). When clicking on "Run" button, the application should take VIN for each car and use it at [login to view URL] to extract car's equipped options and display them as show on the UI mock-up I will provid. In function#2, the application will need to interact with an API with an authentication key. More info about this API server access is at [login to view URL] By examining this API, I will also need to know whether this API can by bypassed so that I can get the data from the original owner assuming this [login to view URL] is just a middle man or 3rd party. After application executes the above two functions, the user is left with either exporting the results to an excel workbook or perform a new search.
