Digital Advertising Sales Executive Shine On Hollywood Magazine (SOHM), an international Arts and Pop Culture motivational digital magazine is looking for highly motivated for independent advertising account executive position to be part of our team to sell advertising space to local and international businesses. This position is very flexible. NEED TO BE GOOD CLOSER.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced atmosphere and balancing out frequent requests from various customers on top of the daily multi-tasking list of projects. In staying on top of Digital Media and future magazine publisher revenue growth, SOHM offers premium advertising, sales, and business development with new cutting edge digital publishing technology platforms for iPad, iPad Mini, iTouch, iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Browser, Facebook and other social networks platform.
You will maintain your account base by effectively selling our unique marketing opportunity to these prospects.
• Cold Calling
• Pre-qualifying inbound leads
• Attending Networking Events
• Create/modify presentations and proposals
• Usage of CRM database for client/prospect communication and pipeline tracking Industry Research
• Planning Sales/Marketing Initiatives to build Awareness and Inquiries
• Strategic Partnership Development of Advertising Media
• Proposal Writing and Follow-ups
• Promotional/Sales Outreach to entire industry categories
• Account Management
Skills/Requirements:
• Consultative selling skills
• Strong communication, sales presentation and closing skills
• Minimum of three years' experience in outside sales; experience in advertising sales a plus!
• Demonstrated ability to develop a niche market
• High-energy, self-motivated, and comfortable working on the phone as well as face-to-face
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Must have a proven track record of quota achievement
• Is proficient with the MS Office suite of software
• Ability to close!
Education/Work Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2-5 years sales experience, experience in selling internet marketing services a plus
Responsibilities:
You will be part of a small team that is responsible for educating clients and agencies on all of the details of SOHM new emerging platform digital magazine serves as the Industry Experts and delivers informative presentations that makes it very easy for the other party to convey to their buying teams and move forward on a campaign. On top of leading the product demonstration at physical MEETINGS, other deliverables include:
