I started my career in 2004 working for Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh, first in the front office and then in catering and event coordinating. In these positions I gained experience in customer service, scheduling, coordinating, administration and sales. I excelled at customer satisfaction and was also praised for my organization and administration skills.
In 2008 I moved abroad and gained many multicultural experiences. Following opportunities led me to Rome and I started my own business in 2011. Being an entrepreneur in Italy is no easy feat, and as I learned to maneuver through the red tape in a second language, I fortified my American values of maximizing time and profit, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clear organizational system. During these 5 years as a small business owner I’ve been able to gain experience in human resources, management, accounting, data entry, sales, marketing, social media management, administration, internet research, general problem solving and many other areas.
As the school is now successful and mostly self sufficient I’m looking for an opportunity to expand my skills.
