Issues with jQuery MaxImage on iPhone 5C

Having an issue with a site on iPhone 5C right now where the maximage plugin doesn't appear to be working. None of the background images show up. However, it works fine on my iPhone 5 and a colleage's 5S. We've checked on Wifi and 3G and is fine, but for some reason is not working on my client's iPhone 5C. 2 images attached -- the black one is what my client sees and the one with the photo is what SHOULD be seen.
