Fix connection problem in a Game Emulator Client/server (python)

Good evening, because I can not get in touch with my old programmer, I need someone else to finish the job. I will explain and try to be as understandable as possible: I currently have a game emulator (client) created in python, the way to play is the client connects to a server (hosted on Amazon AWS) and users connect to play online (p2p). It happened that in the old VPS the client was running super slow so I decided to migrate everything to Amazon. Today the client starts but at the time of connecting with the other user it shows a strange message (see attached image) and the rooms take a long time to load (before they loaded on time). I need this fixed. The professional should have broad knowledge in python, servers, linux and p2p. Without this knowledge it will not be possible to arrange the work.
