Hi, Currently working on a react JS project with block chain with AWS lambda functions as Amplify. DEMO available to showcase. Its a SAAS product for the music industry. AWS Stack Experience: 1) AWS Cognito: We have used AWS Cognito in the past to manage identity of users on our application and to capture various flows of User Registration and Sign In process. We have various ways of receiving JWT tokens (Via SRP) by using Lambda hooks to customize the behaviour of the authentication flow (CAPTCH, 2FA). In past we have used custom lambda hooks for every meaningful interaction of the authentication process such as sending out emails, SMS etc. Our past experience allows us to use the same user pool information to be accessed via separate Apps (For example Front end Mobile App and a Admin Section) with separate Attributes. We have experience with all 3 different authorization sending the access tokens to the API Gateway to invoke the Lambda functions. Amazon Cognito User Pools Allows a simple authentication for a Yes/No permissions. Amazon Cognito Federated Identities (IAM Authorization) Allows us to use to check the permission of a user via IAM and according to the policy manage the Lambda functions. Custom Authorizers: Allows us to use a business logic of our choice via a Lambda function and authenticate the user via 3rd party app to return a well form IAM policy.
