Hi. I can help you installing RT on ubuntu without problem because I've installed previously on ubuntu and debian. And I can procide you a detailed guide for do it, BTW RT official site doesn't have any documentation about instaling RT over ubuntu 18 for example Open to questions

Hello! I'm done this project. I just deployed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS instance on my private Proxmox and successfully installed RT. Now I can login and see fully working interface. I can provide you guide how to install RT on your own system and I also can upload my working instance as .vmdk VMWare image if you want to just to use what am I done for you.
