We need an answer to this question- [login to view URL] I am wondering if we can create the layered menu as lazy loaded using Ajax for Magento 2.x. Hopefully there is someone who has experience in doing so. This existing question can help us- load top menu via ajax. Lets suppose we have this structure in top menu-Brand>Model>Year. If a Brand is selected then all Models will be loaded and so on. And we like to use Varnish for Full Page Cache. Here is a GitHub repo for top menu caching, though definitely not for Magento 2.x- magento-cached-topmenu, may be we can modify this repo to fit Magento 2.x.
