Database Test We need to test database performance on with open-source testing tool for mysql workloads, comparing the performance data points for SSDs and plenty of RAM and HDDs small amount of RAM. The size of the Mysql databases should be done comparing as scenario 1 and scenario 2 support for mysql workloads, using from 100G database. RAM memory an SSD should be stressed up to show the difference. The test must be easily reproduced for demo purpose. Test Execution and Monitoring proposed. Suggestions are accepted. Needs to be as graphical as possible. • HammerDB, an open-source software tool, for populating the 100GB database. • An opensource app needed to monitor Mysql performance and Linux scripts for system monitoring. • An Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) needed for each workload test. • An initial test must be executed on SSDs and, later, the database was migrated to HDDs to verify the difference in performance between the SSD and HDD deployments. • HammerDB should be executed 22 complex queries, and it generated an output file to measure query execution time for each of these 22 queries. • HammerDB parallel trherd option should be invoked to test parallel threads for each of the complex queries, so that the parallel execution timings could be evaluated.
