Just wanted to make sure the sync will be 1 way and not 2 way right ? Means if changed on your main server backup server changes . If backup server changes main doesn't effect . Also is it to be real time or can it be some time interval . Easier to do in time interval so it can be done via a code routine

Hello. There are 2 subtasks: backuping files and backuping database. For files I can propose several ways: 1) using some linux utillity to mirror files using ftp/sftp (for instance lftp) 2) using some cloud (for instance owncloud) - server part will be on backup server and cliend part on current server For database I can propose several ways too: 1) database replication: all queries to modify database will be performed on backup server at once (when connection is possible). So named master-slave servers 2) to dump database periodically on current server and to use files backuping for dumps too May be combination of different ways. Depending on files count, database size and connection type, let's discusss, I did such backup many times using different ways

I can make you the backup server on vps or dedicated. We will mirror all the content, but the sync will be made at 1min or 5min, depending on server hardware. Also i can make a script that sync mysql data every 2sec for not losing anyting. If you have questions please contact me.

The new dedicated MySQL backup server will be set up as slave and the existing production MySQL server will be set up as master.
