Development of Wordpress plugin to support online scheduling and attendance

Who: We currently run classes for a variety of reasons e.g. health and fitness. The classes are run by one or more instructors for a given period of time e.g 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, etc. The classes are run on specific days and time e.g. A class on wellbeing is run every Tuesday between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. at location x What: Students either pay for each class or for a block of classes. For example, a student has the choice to pay $10 for a single class or purchase a block of classes e.g 4 or more and pay a reduced fee. Specials are often run whereby a student can purchase a block of classes however are not able to carry forward a missed class. The attendance of each class is currently paper based and introduces a level of administration and human error. We require a Wordpress plugin that integrates with the latest version of Wordpress and works will all themes to help keep track of students. The plugin must support internal e.g. staff and external users e.g. students to keep a view of the classes that they have either attended or missed. The plugin must support business rules such as notification of expired blocks of classes or upcoming renewal of classes. There will be additional business rules which will be provided on acceptance of the winning bid. When: We require the plugin to be ready in its entirety in 14 business days. This must include testing, bug fixes and promotion from test/UAT to production How: The plugin must; 1. Adhere to all Wordpress best standards and design requirements. 2. Be free of bugs and errors 3. Secure 4. Support all future releases of Wordpress 5. Must work on all operating environments e.g. Linux and Windows 6. Must support all themes 7. Be documented i.e. code and published documentation in Microsoft Word 8. Be modular and scalable 9. Support future additions easily 10. Be well coded and adopt best practices 11. Support multi-sites 12. Not use commercial plugins or code All code and related files will be belong to us at the completion of the project including intellectual property and copyright. The plugin must not use any commercial elements that cannot be transferred to us. All rights remain exclusively with us. Any ideas, concepts or designs conceived during the project will remain exclusively with us as will all intellectual and copyright. All discussions and support must be provided during working hours of our region including weekends. The plugin cannot be used in any portfolio without written permission. A warranty of 3 months must be provided for all work.
