Template Design / Customization for Joomla CMS / VirtueMart

Rent-A-Coder Project This should be a fairly easy design project for a seasoned Joomla designer. We are needing a Joomla template made with VirtueMart integration. We are designing a system that we can create the sites on the fly, but generally the same design…. i.e. everything site specific such as the domain name (see below) is drawn in from Joomla or a config file. We will be changing the header image for each one and possibly the css for colors, etc. The current website, hosted on our virtual dedicated server through [login to view URL] (Linux/CPanel), has the latest version of Joomla and VirtueCart installed and operational. I need a template that has the same look and feel of the following website: [login to view URL], except centered with a grey background, as with [login to view URL] ## Deliverables ----------------- Some design notes: (on the [login to view URL] site) I don’t need the ‘tree’ links on the far top left. i.e. Top>>Catalog, instead we would like to have the domain name in that area (that is drawn in from Joomla or a config file) in this format MyDomain.com. This would also need to be a little bigger and perhaps bold. I do like the top navigation buttons on the site and the way they match the border around the ‘main content’ area. The orange section on the right side is a nice contrast as well as the blue in the main image. I will leave the main image up to the designer’s discretion(keep in mind that it can’t be domain specific) We just need the basics here…. Paypal payments set up in VirtueMart, a couple of sample products just for example We need a shipping and returns section, privacy notice section, conditions of use, contact us form…. The standard stuff for an ecommerce site…. Maybe with ‘here is some sample info’ in each so I can find where to change it. ;-) We do not need the fancy features that come with OSC, such as language selection, currency selection….. I will leave all of that up to your discretion… if you think a search box would work go for it…. Maybe a user login area…. Your choice. The topic of the site is gift baskets….. take a look at one of my designs here and please don’t laugh too hard…. [login to view URL] This was made in OSC, but we are trying to make the switch over to Joomla. We are still new at Joomla’s CMS, so we though outsourcing this site would give us a head start in learning how to use it. If you could give us some direction in how to change the different sections, i.e. shipping and returns, that would be greatly appreciated. We also need to know exactly what needs to be changed if we are going to install the site on another domain name, since we will be installing the site many times on many different domain names….. and we need the design to be unique so we do not step on any feet out there. The finished website will need to be set up on [login to view URL] (just our testing site). We will give you all necessary info, such as Joomla admin, cpanel info, FTP info, etc. upon acceptance. What we are hoping to get out of this is a developer that we can count on that has great design skills and is willing to work on future projects with us.
