Mambo Portal Design and Development

Assembla is seeking a talented designer/ developer to build Mambo portals for paid self/help subscription services. We will hire several developers for a one week trial. We will look for the best qualified developers. We will hire the developer or developers who do well in the trial to build additional components of the system. We are not looking for a team. We are looking for individual developers with a lot of talent. REQUIRED SKILLS * Talented PHP developer with experience building complete applications * Graphic design / template design * Linux server administration skills * Experience working in a distributed team with daily builds and CVS or Subversion source management INSTRUCTIONS Please respond privately or by email to supply(at)assembla.com. Design a template based on the design of an existing Web site. Improve the design based on comments from the client. Figure out how to put the Mambo database and configurations into Subversion so that we can update our development, production, and staging environments. Change the way users register. Users will not register on Mambo, they will register through an online marketing system and go into a SugarCRM database, with passwords and usernames. Replicate SugarCRM contacts as users of a Mambo database portal. There will be one Mambo portal for each product that a user can subscribe to. Remove registration components from Mambo. Install and test new modules and components. Extensively customize the Mambo portals. Design templates. Build new modules with features such as individual surveys and reminder calendars. ## Platform -
