I'm a professional graphic designer looking to create a portfolio site (which includes videos). I've created and set up many of these in the past with outsource teams, but it was always purchasing themes on ThemeForest. This time it's for my own new company, and I couldn't find what I wanted in a pre-existing WP theme.
**The main site we are trying to model is this one** (though mine will be much smaller as it's a new company and we only have a few projects at the moment):
**[url removed, login to view]**
I like Wordpress for the ease and use of the Admin panel for quick updates and changes. I know the owner of this site. He told me it was a custom WP job by FunkHaus.
*In researching the site above, it looks like they used a font license with Adobe Typekit.* In addition, **_HOW_** did they do the interactive scaling? See how the background pictures resize when the window is scaled bigger? See in the Work section how the columns resize when the window is scaled up or down?
**Please Note** Instead of sending me various WP sites, please tell me ***how*** you would recreate or reverse engineer the layouts and functionality of [url removed, login to view] site. The WP sample sites just look like versions of free WP themes out there. **_I'm really looking for examples of:_**
- how you used/integrated custom fonts and/or design elements
- how you customized blog posts for higher end design looks like baconandsons.
- how you customized transitions and UI like the baconandsons site
Again, I can handle all the design aspects & elements, so no worries there.
Please feel free to email me with any questions/clarifications. Other than that, if you feel you can do a stellar job with a decent turnaround (I'll hold up my end), let us know what budget and timeline you estimate.
