This project will involve a re-design / integration of our website into a true shopping cart with a custom customer management / claims module. Our company Compcoach, LLC provides warranties on iPhones against accidental damage, loss, and theft. With our current system, customers can only place orders for our accidental damage plans, and can only submit claims through a clumsy ticket process. We would like to upgrade to a fully shopping cart that will allow us to sell physical products (bluetooth, cases, etc..) as well as our service plans, with the main emphasis being on the service plans. We would also like a claims management system whereby the customer can just log-in, and with 1 button file a claim with a short description of the damage or loss/theft. They must also be able to upload a document to support their claim. This module will also allow us on the back-end to view the claim, change its status (open, in progress, shipped, complete), enter shipping tracking numbers and information, as well as keep track of all claims filed. Currently our database holds the customer personal data, serial number of phones covered, type of phones covered, and length of coverage (generally 1 year). We are currently limited to 2 serial numbers in the system per customer, we would like to make that 10, but have the interface to enter them scale to how many plans the customer purchased. We also need to be able to import our current users and orders, which shouldn't be too difficult. We will provide the current database schema if needed. Finally, we would like to have a secondary ([login to view URL] or something like that) portion of the site that would be a blog for news, tips, tricks, etc.. in WordPress. It is a rather complex project, however I think most of it can be done just as an add-on to ZenCart or OSCommerce. Please let me know if this is within your scope. We are based in Aurora. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Full Database designed to work with the program executable. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
