Real Estate, Website Development 6/11/2012

SCOPE: The project is to design and develop an online real estate website. The main focus of the site is to market properties. The project will involve both front- and back-end work. The front-end should have the following elements: • Detailed property page displaying text, photos, and map • Search capabilities – by price, by address, by bedrooms, baths, etc. • Static pages containing company information • Appointment request • SEO optimized (friendly URLs, meta and title tags) • Sharing: Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Google+, email, pdf, etc. • Properties displayed on map. • Photo sliders The back-end should have the following elements: • Property management tool – Add / change / delete o Property Importer – Import from text and excel files. o Photo uploader • CMS (WYSIWYG) editor – would prefer to have something similar to wordpress or joomla, but can be customized. • SEO functions for meta and title tags DESIGN CONCEPT: The site should be clean looking and well organized. Please check their website for hosting configuration. PAYMENT STRUCTURE: This project will be divided into 4 equal phases and payments. Once a phase is completed, we will perform user testing and report an issues, comments, or concerns. Upon completion, we will release the milestone payment. This will continue until completion. The purpose of this is to minimize any confusion and resolve issues promptly. As we are testing, you can continue development. This method will allow us to release payments earlier and more frequently. COMMUNICATION: TBD (To be determined). We can co-ordinate best available times after selection. TERMINATION: This project will be terminated if I feel the development and/or communication process has stalled. If there is an issue, identify it and let me know. I need to turn in a status report as well. OWNERSHIP: Upon full payment, full ownership of the software/application will transfer to me.
