You need checkboxes instead of quantity box beside each product in the group, so do you want the component products in the group to be sold individually irrespective of it is configured to sold as individually or not? I will create the Contact button on the Single product page when the product is out of stock and clicking on it will open up a contact form with dynamic subject including product's name.
