Currently our firm is looking for a Website Developer who is fluent in CodeIgniter to join our team. Responsibilities: • Development, debugging and maintenance of existing and new web projects • Maintaining web industry best practices with respect to data security and high performance systems • WordPress themes / plugins / widgets / shortcodes / templates development from scratch • Creating clean, efficient, reusable and valid HTML/CSS • Working on multiple projects with our team of designers and developers • Making a website responsive • Attending web meetings and consulting clients on best practices (SEO-, structure- and functionality-wise) Skills / Experience: • 3 years hands-on experience in Web Development industry • Industry-recognized training, e.g. diploma or degree • Strong HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, jQuery skills • Experience with servers / hosting / emails • Experience with CodeIniter (MVC) and OOP • "Out-of-the-box" thinking and problem solving skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • High attention to details is a must • Knowledge of Adobe Products is an asset *Please only apply if you have an active portfolio and complete understanding of web design/development skills* Job Type: Full-time
