[login to view URL] A collection of Twitter-like pages about experts, each of which contain links to content from or about the commentator in reverse chronological order. The content is typically a link to an article, a blog post, an embedded video, or some other information from or about the commentator. Each expert has a single web page. Unlike Twitter, all registered users can add to the pages of the expert. The expert does not “own” his own page. Think of each page as a “fan” page for followers of that expert. The left column contains the general information about the expert. All fields can be edited by any registered user except for the expert’s name. • Name (editable only by admin) • Picture (upload) • Bio (text box) • Books (links to Amazon) • Website (hyperlink) • Twitter handle (hyperlink) • Facebook (hyperlink) The main column is a timeline (ala Twitter or Facebook) to the content (blog post, tweets, article, news, interviews, audio, embedded videos, embedded tweets) linking to the expert’s content on the Web in reverse chronological order (most recent at the top). Any registered user can add content to the timeline, but cannot remove or edit content submitted by others. Each new timeline item will contain the following: • Date • Title (text) hyperlinked to content or embedded video (e.g. Youtube) or embedded tweet • Description (text) • Simple math problem CAPTCHA code for submission Please use the user registration/login/facebook login, and blog from collectiblecat.com. The logo should also be the same except for substituting “EconoCat” for “CollectibleCat”. Ultimately, there may be thousands of experts as users add information to the website. 1. Registration/Login/Facebook Login/How It Works MySQL database required to hold the content of the timelines. Ability to upload Excel files to populate the timeline database.
