I can optimise the disks to the requirements you require and provide you with stats confirming the max throughput / IOPS. There are multiple factors that could cause the performance degradation but I am sure we can find it and resolve the issues for you. The type of RAID the disks are setup in will determine the READ / WRITE penalty ration. I.e. if you are in Raid 10 then you get a write penalty of 2 as you are writing to 2 disks and read will be double as it can read the data from both disks. Thanks Dan
