Combine multiple xml files from urls into 1 big xml file

I need a script to grab the xml files from 300 urls and combine them into 1 big xml file and publish it on my server keeping the same destination url each time it's done and an easy way to edit the original url list as it may change from time to time. I would also like the ability to set this to run either manually or on a schedule. I would also like some type of log or error reporting.
