Create a desktop/cloud based inventory system

I currently have an access database full of forms and queries that I would like to be revamped into a cloud based solution but runs fast enough on a local computer. Perhaps a hybrid desktop/server application.
After entries are entered into the database a label must be generated with a barcode and sent to a label printer on the computer. It would be best if this happens all in 1 click. The inventory system must capture details about each entry and every entry will be unique in some way. Details such as manufacturer, colour and variant are consistant and this is where pricing information will be stored.
The system is primarily for internal staff to locate certain items that meet the criterea, however eventually I would like to link the backend database into an ecommerce website and add a markup so that our competitors can purchase the raw materials from us.
