Full-stack developer position with NYC health-tech start-up

Paid, part-time full-stack developer position with NYC start-up Healthi is a New York- based healthtech company. We design develop effective health programs for leading companies. We’re looking for a talented and experienced full-stack developer to build a web app. This will be a paid part-time contract remote position, so the ideal person will be disciplined, passionate and focused. Position is ongoing. Main Requirements: UI/Front-end — You should be able to write clean markup, to convert designs from .SKETCH, .PSD into HTML + CSS + JavaScript. You should be comfortable working with CSS Frameworks (Twitter Bootstrap or Foundation) and JS Frameworks (jQuery, Angular) Back-end — You should have experience working with WordPress (mandatory) (other PHP Frameworks or 2 sided- marketplace would be a plus). You should be comfortable working with WordPress and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, if necessary General — Write well-crafted, high-quality, self-documented, and easy to maintain code- Push your code to GitHub + deploying it and maintaining the repo- Providing technical support of applications (fixing bugs and supporting company needs)- Support and maintenance of existing applications and website- Daily standup and update about the project’s status Fit — Strong collaborative skills. You should be willing and able to work with the web designer, backend engineer, as well as other members of the team with minimal friction. Bring your ideas, as well! Nice to have: You’ve helped build or customize WordPress themes and plugins in the past and have some great examples you’re excited to share with us (you have code on GitHub, Launchpad, BitBucket, etc.) You are self-disciplined and thrive in a remote environment working with a distributed team You have an extensive knowledge of the HTML5 toolkit (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery) You are a strong communicator and can effectively communicate your ideas both internally and externally Interested?
