I require a developer to create a PDF form creation routine that will run unattended on my server and produce fillable PDFs automatically. INPUT: background image + coordinates of fields + type of fields (text, dropdown, checkmark) + rules/conditions (if Field1 is entered, then Field2 also must be entered). OUTPUT: produce a PDF fillable form with image as background, entry fields overlayed on the image according to provided coordinates, Submit button to send the information from each field to a URL, Reset button to clear all fields. If rules are broken, then Submit should not work and a warning message should be generated. PDF partially filled should allow saving the PDF with filled data. You are welcome to use any existing library or technology (free or paid - I will purchase) that helps to efficiently develop this functionality. You must have experience working with this technology. In your response, please briefly describe your implementation.

Hi, I specialize in creating custom-made tools for PDF files and have developed various similar tools to this one in the past. I usually like to use PDFBox, which is an open and free Java library, but I can also do it using iText (if you'd purchase a license for it). The result will be a stand-alone jar application that you could run from a command-line, so no user interaction will be required. I'm available to start working on it right away. Hi, I have gone through your requirement, I have worked on PDF form fields using third party open source DLL iTextSharp, I have good expertise on this. Now here is what we need. 1. One web form > Which will take input like types of field, background image , coordinates of fields etc. 2. One windows application or some process which will run in background of server and generate fillable PDF form. Now my question is: 1. Once PDF form generated, Then who will fill it ? Do we need to send that form to someone or need to show on some website ? 2. If user partially save the PDF form data, then on what basis they can save ? I mean we must required some unique number which will identify the partially saved user data. Please provide more details of my doubts. Thanks, Jatin

Hello.I can write this tool as a window based cgi app. It will receive the input information(request),process it and return pdf(response). Obviously the hard part will be the rules which has to be in Adobe javascript. The other parts i.e what type of control(radio button,checkboxes etc),Reset and Submit button,background image are straight forward to implement. I can provide a demo if you want. Does the file needs to be generated through a webpage interaction, or directly inside the server without any user interaction?

I think you do not need paid library for this project. This functionality can be implemented with iTextSharp library. iTextSharp is a free open source library. I have also worked on TallComponent pdf. This will cost about $5000 for the library. You can extract all fields with TallComponent library very nicely. But you don't need it in you project. I am highly interested about you project. And have experience on it.
