coding, ajaxing, City and Directory search to be optimized properly

I have a site that requires the users to enter a City to initiate the search function and it was not setup properly. We need it to be optimized to work very quickly and clean, right now it's slow and bogs down. we also need a few updates that will require both advanced and basic coding techniques. I can provide a very detailed outline that will walk you through every step to be completed. Must be proficient in both custom php and wordpress. We also have a few minor update to be made on our site, aesthetics, wording and text, as well as linking a few buttom options. Once this is complete, we have a number od other projects that will need to be completed.
