Create Short code to display table of custom post types in Wordpress

We have created a custom post type for our Wordpress site and would like a short code that we can use to display these custom posts throughout the site. The short code should be called [programs_list] It would display the following: - Pull all active posts of type 'Program' - Display a table similar to the attached screen shot - Columns in the table would be: Program Name, Sport, Season, City, Game Location, Day of Play, Cost, Dates, Notes - All columns would pull data from fields already part of the posts - Header and table style would match the attached screen shot - 1st column (Program Name) would link to a detail page of the post. (This will be built later as a second part to this project) - The table should be sortable by column. ie. Clicking 'Dates' would sort by that column ASC, click again to sort by DESC. This is the first part of many related projects. Once this is completed I would like to work with you to complete the rest of the project.
