I aim to create a website based around the platform steam, specifically the PC game "Couter-Strike:Global Offensive." Enthused by a small handful of websites, I would like to turn the E-Gambling scene on it's head by providing a friendly, safe website where users can come on without fear of being scammed and to have fun in a communal gambling environment. What I aim for, is a website that uses the Steam Web Login API to avoid account registrations, alongside gathering information about the users inventory. For use which will be covered soon! I will now delve into the specifics! THE WEBSITE: As stated before, I want to be able to log-in via Steam, chat with other active members on the website, have access to bet history (personal and global) and have access to two different types of games! - COINFLIP (Game #1) a 50/50 flip of a coin it's a 1 versus 1. In order to initiate a coinflip, you must join an already hosted coinflip session or create your own. When you create your own you're given the selection to pick which side of the coin you are betting on, and which items you'd like to bet. When JOINING a coinflip, you aren't given the choice to pick which coin because there's only 1 side of the coin left - however you must match the value of the bet you're joining with a 10% leighway. Once the second member has joined the session and successfuly deposited his item - the clock ticks down from 10 and at 0, the coin will flip and the winner is decided! The trade bot will then give both players bets to the winner. -JACKPOT (Game #2): There is only to be 1 session at all times, the session starts when the first player deposits a skin and the session lasts 3 minutes. Every time a player deposits a skin to the "pot" they're entering into the pot, if the total pot was worth $1,000 and I deposited a $750 item, once the minutes is up I would have a 75% chance of winning the pot due to the fact I deposited 75% of the pot, which makes the risk so fun! THE STEAM TRADE BOT - The trade bot will use node.js and [login to view URL] and must have Steam Escrow compatibility. The bot won't accept any offers unless it is told to via the website, for example I don't want a random person asking for $5000 worth of skins and the bot just gives them to him, I want the bot to trade only when he is supposed to. Both the steambot and website must query an api that can gather detailed information about the items in question - The items are CS:GO Skins.
