We require the development of a new interactive website. We are a sports court construction company which has three main target markets - Residential, Community (Clubs, schools, government) and Commercial. We would like a WordPress site which when people first come to it, they are given the option of choosing the sector that they belong to - with them then funnelled into a section of the site which just shows information relating to that sector (but they can see that there are other sectors if they want to investigate other things). We want the site to provide a hub of information that is relevant to them, provide an opportunity to build / create their own court - either by uploading an image of their back yard or club court area etc and then selecting the number of courts they they want, the sports that they would like to include, the base type, the surface type and colour (including colour combinations), sports equipment, lighting, fencing types etc - they get to see what they are selecting as an image that they can save and request a quote - which would then go straight to our sales team - with a copy of the image and a list of what their requirements are - so that a quote can be arranged. We use the CRM Infusionsoft, so would want the site to interact directly with Infusionsoft for the Sales Team to track their enquiries etc. We also want to incorporate a catalogue of sports equipment, lighting and fencing options within each sector that people can choose and request a quote. We will also need to have areas within each sector which has case studies, galleries of photos etc. We would like to incorporate our social media within the site, We would need an overall "home' type page/s which have our Team, our services (construction, refurbishment, surfacing, sports equipment, lighting, fencing, covered sports areas etc). Our current site is [login to view URL]
Below are a few different court designers that I have found on other websites – they are all a bit clunky and amateurish and I am looking to have one developed that looks professional and really gives people the opportunity to design the type of court that they would like to build in their backyard, or multiple courts for their club, or multiple multisport courts for their school etc.
The ultimate would be having people select their site from google maps (or even upload a photo of their area) – select the area that they would like their court on the google map and have them be able to choose the type of court, the sports, the type of surfacing, fencing, lighting, etc etc etc and the system draws the court for them with their background – lets them make changes to the colours, the sports, the number of courts etc. We have the details of the sizes of each court and we have colour charts for the different types of surfaces etc.
If they don’t want to go through the google map option, we would need to give them an option of just building a court, indicating the size of the area that they have available, the sports, the base type, the surface type etc.
When they are looking at what surface type or other info, we would want them to be able to see some ‘hints and tips’ for each of the options that they have – for example if they are choosing between a concrete court and an asphalt court – we would want some hints on the pros and cons of each to be available, when they are choosing between an acrylic surfaced court of a synthetic grass court, we would want some hints and tips on those, when they are selecting an acrylic hard court and an acrylic cushioned court – hints and tips once again…. When choosing between plexipave and synpave – more hints and tips. Am I making sense?
Once they are happy with their design, they can submit it, with the enquiry to go straight to the Sales Team, with a copy of the image and a list of what they have requested – with a copy of the image also going to the potential client. This would need to be linked with our CRM system – Infusionsoft. We have the API available for this.
If people aren’t interested in a full court and want to purchase just elements like sports equipment, lights, fencing, seating, shade structures etc, we would also want to have a catalogue of products that people can choose from – and they can then select if they want to buy it only or buy and have it installed.
The overall idea for our new website is to give each sector of our market an opportunity to have a website that is developed with their needs in mind. So, when someone types in www.dynamicsportsfacilities.com.au they are provided with a choice of which sector they belong to:
• Residential (which is the Mum and Dad clients) who want to build, replace or refurbish their at home sports court
• Community (which is for sports clubs, schools and Government) who want to build, replace or refurbish their courts – they can by multiple courts with multiple sports on them – they can also be indoors or outdoors or even under cover courts
• Commercial (which is for companies who are building courts on behalf of other groups) they may once again need to build, replace or refurbish courts
Once they have selected their market sector, we want to take them into their own area, which has image galleries which are relevant to their sector, a library of information which is relevant to their sector, a catalogue that they can choose to purchase sports equipment, lighting, fencing, shade structures, seating etc that are relevant to their sector and a court builder that is relevant to their sector.
We want to make it as easy as possible for them to build their dream court/s and request a quote. We would also want to give them an opportunity to request a site visit or just request contact from our Sales Team if they are the type of person who does not what to spend time creating their own court.
We want to funnel people towards requesting a quote and giving them an opportunity to feel that they can choose what they are after – to give them a sense of ownership.
We would really want the functionality to work on mobile devises – so that if people are sitting on a bus on their way to work, they can sit there designing their dream court and request a quote etc
We would need to have some common areas of the site – Our Team, About us, Services etc – and we would want them to be able to see that they can click onto the other sector areas should they wish to.
