Edit my wordpress template, and show me how you did it

I have created a website to my cousin using a ready-made free wordpress template (It's called Shuttle Magazine). Now my cousin is asking me for certain edits that I cannot do through the theme customizing tools. For example the theme supports one logo at the top-left corner, while my cousin requested another logo to be put at the top-right corner. He also requested changing the some of the theme colors. Also my cousin requested changing the order of menu items. While I did that from WP dashboard, changes do not seem to be taking effect.
I want you to do all the edits (that I will send you later), and MOST IMPORTANTLY I want you to show me how you did these changes. For example, for each change you made, you would tell me "I changed it by editing [login to view URL] file, go to line #99, change the color number to xxx.".
If I work with you, I will send you the WP-Admin username and password, and the list of changes that I want. Remember, you will have to send me a report that includes how each one was fixed. If you dont like writing a report, we can have a call and you explain to me how you made the fixes. This is an important part of the job. You will not be paid if this part is missing.
Don't worry, I am not a competitor. I would like to learn for my own knowledge when I help friends, as I like web design.
