I need some help debugging and modifying a semi custom Wordpress plug in.
On my home page [login to view URL] there is a search feature that currently searches a data base and on the another page ([login to view URL]) there is a similar search that both need to be repaired.
What I would like to have is such that when an end user checks a particular City, in the back ground, the search is actually searching three variables being the city, or area or geo_area. So it should be such that a customer can search for multiple selections such as selecting Jupiter AND Juno Beach and having a search run for properties with the city = Jupiter OR (it is now an AND boolean) area=5220.
This is the mapping and the basic coding.
‘City’ search parameter

Also, I need to fix the property type search such that when an end user searches for say a ‘Town House’ they are searching for two property types being a townhouse OR a villa. Similarly, when a user searches for a ‘Condo’ they are searching for a condo/coop OR a condo hotel in the data set. This work may require that the PHP search form be changed to a multi select and the HTML coded to display check boxes.
