Quick WordPress Comment Fix Issue

I have a WordPress site where I had a coder code a custom post template for me. I wanted a sortable page where I have a bunch of different "mini posts" that belong to certain categories and that visitors can filter. It's all great and is working great, you can check it out here: [login to view URL] The problem is, the comment section doesn't show up at the bottom of this post. Just a little stub, but not the comment section. The guy who coded the site is unavailable ATM, so i'd like to as your help to quickly fix this. If you're a skilled WordPress developer and can solve this quickly in minutes for $10 that would be awesome. Thanks! PS: To display the sortable mini posts (custom post types) on this page I have a shortcode to embed on the post, and as long as I don't insert the shortcode the comments section is displayed fine, but after I insert the shortcode it disappears. PPS: I tried creating a page, embedding the shortcode there and allowing comments on that page, but the comments don't even show up there: [login to view URL]
