Job title
JS/PHP/MySQL customization in OptimizePress 2.0
Objective
I want to create web content that is branded to different advisors/salespeople, based on the name passed in the URL. This must be done on pages created by OptimizePress 2.0 (via Javascript and/or "Custom HTML / Shortcode" elements).
Background
The branding parameters are stored in a custom mySQL database, and include: Firstname, Lastname, AdvisorID, Company, AboutHTML, ImageURL, WebsiteURL, Email, etc.
I have OptimizePress 2.0 (OP2), WordPress 4.2.13, MySQL 5.6.33, PHP 5.2.17.
Task Specifics
When the site session starts, connect to the custom database [login to view URL] (once), with appropriate error handling.
Get the AdvisorID from the URL
eg. with [login to view URL], retrieve AdvisorID=JohnSmith
Retrieve the field values for the referenced AdvisorID from the Advisors table.
Using OP2's Live Editor, add "Custom HTML / Shortcode" and/or "JavaScript" elements to any page, to render the information from these fields as text, images, or hyperlinks. Formating of these elements is ideally done in the Live Editor. If necessary, the HTML formating of these values can be stored in a table.
Text fields (like Firstname, etc.) are simply displayed.
WebsiteURL: display a functioning hyperlink (<a href= ... > tag).
ImageURL: displays the image in the file referenced by the absolute URL in this field.
The result is that when browsing to [login to view URL], John Smith's contact information, head photo, website, etc. would show on the pages where these "Custom HTML / Shortcode" and/or "JavaScript" elements were inserted. When someone browses to [login to view URL], Bob Green's branding would show.

Dear Sir,
I have reviewed your project requirement and here is my understanding.
Obtain content from external mysql database and show the respective branding details based on the url parameters.
Clarification
1. Rather keeping the branding details in a different database - can we create a table in the database which the current site uses
2. Here is our approach - branding page web content can be stored as a custom post type page and when user access the url with a specific branding paramenter respective page from custom post type will be displayed - by this way the branding page content can be managed in the backend.
Kindly consider my proposal for an initial discussion to make a clear unsderstanding.
Thank you
Rajesh
