Powershell script which works as a resident software

Need a powershell script which enables keyboard hook.
It should work as a resident software as I'm going to use it with Excel, Word, etc.
-Specifications-
When the powershell script is activated, it stays at task tray and waits for a key input. When using Excel and a particular key is pushed, the script changes the input to another key.(e.g. If "a" is pushed, the Excel shows "hello world").
