Financial Analyst

DESCRIPTION Our company seeks a Financial Analyst to join our team on a recurring, on-call basis. If planning, analysis and projection is your bread and butter, … we want YOU! You’ll be tasked with working alongside our team – helping to plan and create business models, find Total Addressable Markets and mentor the team on starting savings. WHO YOU ARE You’re a self-starter, predictor, and historical finance junky. Our ideal candidate would be an aspiring analyst with a strong background in predicting future results, driving process and policy improvements. Check out some more details below: RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze current and past financial data. Prepare reports and projections based on data analysis. Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations of improvement. Coordinating with members of the team to review information and forecasts. Provide financial models and forecasts. REQUIREMENTS Must have an understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems MUST have knowledge of big data and data analytical systems. Displayed ability in analytical and financial modeling. Must be a strategic thinker with great presentation skills. Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley. Must have excellent time management and organizational ability. MUST be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction. MUST be ready to work hard, be teachable, BE OPEN TO FEEDBACK. BONUS points if you: Have experience writing for startups, community based businesses and / or tech businesses. Have understanding of and/or interest in how businesses, organizations, and communities work (STRONG plus, in fact that’s worthy of an extra 15 bonus points).
