3D modeling, sketches, industrial design and DFM

We are a start-up working on building true wireless earbuds with a capsule that charges the earbuds wirelessly. We are looking to hire Industrial designer on a freelancing contract to Join our team to get the product ready for mass Production. more details will be shared after we hire. Responsibilities collabrate with online team of designer from early concept through production, while management of project resources, schedules, and budgets. Follow up closely with engineers, suppliers to achieve the best possible product in terms of craftsmanship, cost, and engineering while staying as close to the design vision as possible. Create compelling sketches that shows the vision of our product. Work on solving problems ranging from the big picture to the fine details Build 3D CAD models of intended design for the creation of prototypes or to communicate design intent to engineering teams. Collaborate with other teams (fabrication and Engineering) to complete prototypes and anything need to get to the mass production Requirements examples or a portfolio of completed designs. Must have in-depth technical knowledge of prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes. High level of skill taking 2D sketches to 3D modelling Excellent at creating and maintaining cross-functional working relationships. Exceptional visual and oral communication skills. Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple parallel-path projects. Demonstrated an ability to deliver successful designs under tight timing constraints and provide examples of such scenarios throughout career
