Here is a sample of my work- AMBITION She stood there, mesmerized, eyes wide open as if she had seen the boogie man. I also stared back at her, almost enjoying the moment. I could almost hear her thoughts, “is it a monkey?! A cat?!” Just for kicks, I growled at her, which actually proved to be my biggest mistake yet, the little thing screamed like hell causing her mother, a hefty pompous beast to emerge from the kitchen door clutching a huge bronze broom. This was my queue, run or die. I leapt out of the trash can aiming for the fence but before I could get over the other side,the broom she was holding caught me square at the back of my head sending me sprawling back down. Took me a second or two to recover which was more than enough timefor her to pick up a flower pot on the porch and sent it flying straight at my face. By now even the screaming little thing was cheering her mother on to assassinate me. I leapt once more, this time a bit more motivated by the fact that she was gunning for my urchin blood. I landed on top of the fence and another flower pot from the murderous woman sent me face first on the other side.
